Hi, I'm a Hypnotherapist based on the Gold Coast, Australia. I love helping people overcoming a wide range of barriers with hypnotherapy.

Yes, anyone with the ability to follow instructions can go into hypnosis. Hypnosis is a natural state of mind that occurs when a person is focused, relaxed, and open to suggestion. Some people may be more susceptible to hypnosis than others, but anyone can be hypnotised with the right approach and willingness to participate in the techniques and follow the hypnotists suggestions.

However, it’s important to note that regardless of popular or common opinion everyone can be hypnotised to the same degree. Some people may not allow themselves to experience it as deeply as others due to some fears they may be holding on to or misconceptions they have about the process but with intent and a willingness to follow suggestion everyone can experience the deepest levels of hypnotic trance.

Some people may be highly responsive to hypnosis and experience profound changes in their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours very quickly while others may require several sessions to resolve an issue. Additionally, certain individuals, such as those with certain mental health conditions, may be less responsive or not suitable candidates for hypnosis. If you have concerns regarding this please give Phil Cardow a call on 0423 481 306

It’s also worth noting that hypnosis is a highly individual experience, and technique that works wonderfully for one person may not be appropriate for another. The effectiveness of hypnosis depends on a variety of factors, including the skill of the hypnotist, the willingness and openness of the person being hypnotised, and the nature of the issue or goal being addressed through hypnosis.

Focused and Relaxed

Hypnosis is a state of focused attention and heightened suggestibility that can be induced by a trained practitioner, such as a hypnotherapist. During hypnosis, the individual is in a relaxed and receptive state, similar to daydreaming or meditation. In this state, the individual may be more open to suggestion and may experience an altered sense of reality, such as a heightened awareness of their internal experiences or a feeling of detachment from their surroundings.

Hypnosis is often used as a therapeutic technique to help individuals overcome a variety of issues, such as anxiety, phobias,  addiction. It may also be used for pain management, to improve sleep, and to enhance performance in sports or other activities.

It’s important to note that hypnosis is a safe and effective technique when practiced by a trained and licensed professional. However, it is not a magic cure or a means of mind control, and the effectiveness of hypnosis may vary depending on the individual’s level of receptivity and the specific issue being addressed.
